Mother's lounge, use it!

There is this rather larger lady in our ward at church that has a little baby that still nurses. This lady feels that she can breast feed her baby during sacrament uncovered! Today they sat right in front of us and 10 minutes into sacrament she whips out her breast and continues to feed her baby uncovered. I just want to say " do you need a blanket to cover your breast?"

I made the hard decision to get braces AGAIN! My teeth have slowly been getting worst over the years and they really have been bugging me for awhile now. So I made an appointment and jumped in. I am getting a great deal on them, so i figured I might as well do it now for that price and while I'm still young and we can afford it. Mom stopped by to watch for a bit and took some less then flattering pictures of the process. Step one: prep my teeth and i had to wear the funniest mouth opener. I was laughing so hard at myself. Step two: place the brackets on with his new wax/bracket technique. I made it so much more quicker then placing them one one at a time.

Finished look! I feel like such a 12 year old goober!!! It took my awhile to show Josh, but i did and he still loves me. How could he resist this metal mouth. Hopefully I'll get them off in less then a year. I just have to think of how great they will look in the end. Right now though my teeth hurt and it took my a long time to eat string cheese!

GENSCO

Josh got a new job this week!! Well not really a new job because it is his previous employer Gensco. We are so excited for this opportunity for him to be having a job now and being blessed with getting an even better job. I'm so proud of my husband for not giving up on job searching when it was very discouraging!
We never thought this day would come but we've been living with my parents for 1 year next week! It has been such a blessing to be able to live with them especially with Josh working odd jobs and us trying to save money to move out. They have been great parents, but we are now more then ever ready to move out and be a real married couple again!

Time to get ready

Spring time is almost here and before we know it, it will be summer time! I've got to get my body for fun in the sun. I've really tried to work out 4 days a week and really watch what i've been eating, but come on, I like to eat so that parts been a little hard! Also no one likes a chubby girl let alone a pasty one. So I'm been thinking about hitting up the tanning beds in a couple of months. I love summer, we go boating, traveling,family reunions, camping, eating outside on the patio and just relaxing.

McCall trip

Over the weekend the Jakobson family celebrated Miss Madelyn's 2nd birthday! She is such a fireball and a whirlwind of fun. I love spending time with her and I love that she wants me to be with her. She's our family princess. The Jakobson family (and Andrew Norman) headed up to McCall for our annual Ski Trip. It was so nice to have a long weekend of nothing but fun, family and skiing! I love that my whole family skies and that we have those memories with each other. I seriously have the best family. We get a little crazy playing games late into the night!

The only picture i got with my camera before it DIED! I about died not having a camera to take pictures with all week. Me, josh, amanda and brent on the chair lift. I was pretty impressed with Amanda being 6 months pregnant and still able to power ski down the mountain.

Molding

When Boe was a few weeks old we had him come down to the office and tried to make molds of his hands and feet. He HATED it and cried so loud. Unfortunately we got the molds but not really good ones.
