Owen's actual birthday was on friday march 9th. we didn't do anything real special. I took him to target and let him run around.
he picked out this toy at the store.
that night Josh and I took Owen for ice cream to celebrate his birthday as a little family.
the next day we had a party for Owen. we invited close family and friends and it ended up just being family, which was perfect.

i almost forgot to get a picture of his awesome cake. if you can't tell it's was a number 1 before we cut into it.
