starting early

I love disney movies and this classic movie finally came to DVD. I bought it and thought I might as well start stocking up on the classic movies for my own kids to watch and enjoy, just like I did growing up.

Surprise

Last night I surprised Josh with tickets to the Brad Paisley concert! we weren't planning on going, bu i kept hearing it on the radio and really wanted to go so about two hours before the show i bought the tickets and waited for josh to get home from Twin Falls to tell him! the concert was AMAZING! Best concert I've been too yet!

a kid again

A couple of weeks ago i babysat Grant and Madelyn. We made a huge fort that we all sat in and ate our mac n cheese while watching cartoons. Super fun! immediately after dinner we had to fix popcorn and watch a movie! Madelyn acourse wanted to watch a princess movie! Grant was VERY concerned about watching to make sure I made the popcorn correct! He's not mad, he's just wouldn't take his eyes off the machine. I always love to play with the kids and feel so loved by them.

early delivery

I saw this crib online at a store i was thinking i could never afford anything from! I was thinking it was too early to be buying big stuff for the baby but, i fell in love and lucky for us the crib was on a GREAT sale and free shipping! So i bought it and it came in the mail, we put it together and It's BEAUTIFUL and and I'm so excited to be getting baby stuff! It's real, we are actually having a baby!

Our crib is a darker stain then the crib in the picture, but you get the idea. We find out the gender in a few weeks and then the fun begins with decorating and bedding!

off it went

As much as i love long hair and wish so bad that my thin damaged hair looks good long, it doesn't and I face the fact every once in awhile and i chop it off. I'm happy that I can pull off short hair and it makes my hair looks so much healthier and fuller! My sister Amanda really wanted me to take pictures of all angles and post them, well this is the best I got. It is sorta an A-line, but I like to say it's a cool bob! A little shorter in the back longer in the front. I love it! it does take a lot longer to style then I'm used to, but I guess it's time i have a grown up hair style. Thanks to my mother n law who bought me a brand new incredible straightener to help with my new style.

Cheap Date

On Friday it was real hot still so the kiddos and my mom came over and we all went swimming for probably the last time this year. it's so much more fun swimming with Grant and Mads then by ourselves. Josh had asked me out on a date earlier that week, so friday night we went out to eat at Goodwood and then a movie. The best part was we didn't spend a dime, unless you count my candy I bought before the movie.

I love my hubby and i'm happy that I get so giddy still when I get dressed up and go out on a real date together! We know that dates are going to be few and and in between when little sonic gets here. if you look closely you can see my little little baby bump!

Baby Sonic

Now that i'm all caught up on my blog postings I thought I would catch up on this baby growing inside of me.

I'm now in my 13th week, doing real good. For a couple of weeks i was real sick all the time, but I think that has past! I had an appointment last week and heard it's heartbeat and everything was great. Grant has nick named the baby Sonic and it has pretty much stuck around. my little belly is growing out, just a bit! I can no longer suck in my lower gut, but i'm still waiting for the day I look little pregnant. No weird cravings yet, just like to eat every few hours. There are some foods I can't eat anymore either do to the texture or taste.

Las Vegas

Josh went on his annual Boys weekend to Seattle and I decide to go visit Tyson and his fam in Vegas. Kole was super excited to see me which made me feel good cause usually he likes me for two seconds and then moves on to Joshy or Gramdma! Amanda and I went to an amazing outlet mall and did some shopping with the boys. it was pretty hot and if I stood still too long the ground would start to burn through my shoes! We ate lunch with Tyson at his school one day and met some of there new friends. Went to a cool water park and a movie in the park at night. The park at a carousal that Kole and I were super excited about.

Baby Luke is getting so big and smiling all the time. He's still soft and squishy so I held him as often as possible. I won't see them again this mid October when Josh and I go down to visit for kinda our Babymoon.

it was so fun to hang out with Tyson and Amanda. Josh and i have really miss doing that with them. I was real sad to leave, but so happy to be back home with Josh.

My friends

My girls and I met up for dinner before Sierra left back for Utah. It was SO much fun and I forgot how much I love to hang out with my Girls. We laughed a ton and caught everyone up on everything. Our server was always laughing when she was at our table. We are a pretty entertaining group of girls. Thanks Tricia for the face to remember.

CNR

We went to the Caldwell Night Rodeo with some of our friends. It's always fun to go to the rodeo every year. Just so happens that Josh's family was there that same night we were so they came over and sat with us! It was a lot of fun and not as hot this year! Baby Sonic really enjoyed that part!

Yellowstone

Every year on cory's birthday weekend we go camping. Usually Cory picks the place and if you can go them more the better. This year he picked camping at Yellowstone park. We were all SO excited. Last time i was there I was just little little and Josh has never been before. So we get there and it's just pouring rain! POURING!! Get to our campsite try to set up camp quickly and it starts to Hail! I only packed one pair of pants and sweatshirts for Josh and I. it was a cold on that night!

The weather was bright and sunny the next day and the next. We saw most of the popular sites to see. Everything was amazing to watch and learn about.

The whole park was gorgeous! and there was always something to stop and look at whether it was bubbling mud pits, the bluest water craters and geysers everywhere you went.

We were always on the look out for any animals. If people were pulled off the road you bet we stopped to see what was happening. We had seen a few elk but was so excited when we started to see a ton of buffalo. We went down this cliff to look and huge herd across the water and when we came up this big buffalo was walking right behind our car! it was so exciting to see it that close. Later we were stopped on the road by a huge herd taking there time crossing the road. it was so cool to be able to be SO close to wildlife.

lastly we went on some major hiking to see beautiful lower and upper Falls of Yellowstone. They were unexplainable huge and breathtaking.


Yellowstone was amazing and I hope we can go back soon and see even more of the park. We did so much and i took so many more pictures but not enough time to blog about it all.
These were just some of the highlights from the trip.

Amanda and the boys trip

Amanda and her boys were in town for her sister's baby blessing and came and stayed with my mom for a couple of days. It was great to see them. i had really been missing Amanda, kole and baby Lukey.

all of us girls and kiddos went to the zoo and had a picnic in the park. Lucky for us it was the hottest day every! highlight of the zoo was we paid to feed the giraffes and that was so awesome. The kids weren't so sure of it to begin with, but by the end the didn't want to be done.

Amanda and i left the boys with mom and did go and do a little bit of shopping before she left.

The three kids really like to play with each other so it was really nice to see them all back together for a bit. When mady first saw kole she said ," Kole buddy." and he said, "hi Mady" then they hugged!! It totally melted my heart.

it was so sad to see them leave, but i knew that i would be seeing them again in a few weeks when i go and visit them in Las Vegas.

slacking

I have a lot to blog about, but this pregnancy is zapping all my energy and i don't ever feel like blogging, but I promise as soon as I get my camera battery charged and my body's I'll have some great posts.

I'm Pregnant!!!

We are SUPER excited for this little person growing inside of me. It's so strange to know that we are going to be parents and responsible for this baby. It's going to be so loved by so many people. It's still very surreal, but hearing it's little heart beat brought tears to our eyes! That what I do now, cry, a lot! I'm feeling real good, if I don't eat something hardy in the morning I'm pretty nauseous by 10. Josh has been awesome and he is so thrilled to be a dad. He will be the best dad!

I'm due March 8th, 2011.
I'm looking forward to absolutely everything that involves being pregnant!
SO EXCITED!

So sore

Some of us Jakobsons went boating Saturday night. It was sooooooooooo hot that it felt so nice to get wet. My pictures are way out of order ,but by the end of the night I had some sweet bangs. It looked like I curled them with a big curling iron. We thought it was funny. Anyways..... Here's Josh doing his wakeboard thing. He amazes me every time we go boating. He's not afraid to try anything and he always looks awesome doing it.

I didn't feel like wakeboarding, so I did the most natural thing...Ski! Josh hadn't ever seen me ski before so I felt some pressure to look good. I did pretty decent. This is what made me so so so sore in my shoulders from holding onto the rope. Josh is pretty still sore too.


Sweet Baby Boe, he loved riding in the boat and putting his feet on the deck and getting wet.

We missed tyson and amanda there. Josh and Brent kept saying how easy Tyson always makes wakeboarder looks. cory and Jenny skipped out to, Grant was really bummed, but no worries there are plenty of hot summer days to come.

girl friends

These are the wonderful ladies that I married into, Josh's best friend's wives. Luckily we all get along really well and really like to hang out. So we had a baby shower for little Mallory and her baby girl. it was fun just to have girl talk and see all the cute little pink stuff she got.

Me, Rachel and kristy really aren't giants, Mallory is just maybe 5 feet tall. i had jenny make me some of her super cute bows and flower clips with two headbands. They were a big hit.
Baby fever was sure in the air at this shower. :)

summer swimming

Summer has official arrived and it's time to go swimming. We've been to our pool once and today I was suppose to take grant and Mads, but grant got into trouble and couldn't go. Mads wanted to go so we still went and It was a lot of fun just the two of us. She kept asking where Joshy was and Kole Buddy were. She's my sweet princess

lots of fireworks

to start off sorry the pictures are so small I forgot my camera every time I needed it,totally not like me, and I had to use Josh's blackberry.

We had a great 4th of July weekend. We started it off on Saturday night we went to Cory and Jenny's neighborhood bbq. They had so much food and so many yummy treats and a ton of people. at the end of the night they light off a ton of awesome fireworks. it was a great way to start off our weekend. their neighbor brought out their snow cone machine and handed out free snow cones, awesome!

The "train". It's a guy on his 4 wheeler pulling a bunch of wagons tied together. It's a huge hit with the kids.

Sunday we didn't do much, but that evening we went to Ann Morison park to watch the incredible fireworks with our friends Boe and Charla.

Then on Monday everyone had the day off EXCEPT FOR ME! i was so mad I had to work, but my family didn't end up going to the lake and we ending up going to Cory's to have a nice bbq and hang out. It was a great 4th of July this year and I can't wait till next year.

Willden Family Reunion

it's that time of the year again when all of us Willden's get together for a long weekend. Again it was in loveland, Colorado. It took us a good 13 hours to get there, but totally worth the drive. the way home we made better timing with it only taking 10 hours. There was a lot of us Willdens, camping, doing a lot of eating ,talking and a ton of laughing. We look forward to this trip every year and it never disappoints us. We can't wait till next year!

I did a lot of hogging of this little guy, Aaron. i was in baby heaven with him.

i really enjoy all the willdens and we really missed not having chick and katie and their families there. hopefuuly next year we'll see them

spoiled

Josh and I came home to these items waiting for us. The only person that would do that for us is my Mom and Dad. They spoil us kids rotten and i'm so grateful to have them as parents. Now I just need to get out and do some yard work.
